History Minor - Teaching

Minor Requirements - 18 semester hours

• HIST 121 - Western Civilization I 3 semester hours

• OR

• HIST 122 - Western Civilization II 3 semester hours
• HIST 151 - United States History I 3 semester hours
• HIST 152 - United States History II 3 semester hours

• American History - Choose from one of the following: 3 semster hours

  HIST 359, 369, 409, 450, 455, 460, 465, 467, 469, 472, or 476

   

  European/Non-Western/World History - Choose from one of the following: 3 semster hours

  HIST 115, 313, 317, 318, 322, 342, 344, 376, 377, 418, 425, 441, 442, 444, 447

   

• SEED 415 - 7-12 Social Science Methods 3 semester hours

• * SEED 415 is required only for those taking Secondary Education.  Those taking Elementary Education should replace this with an additional three hours of History electives.
