Research Minor - Sports Science

Students who have completed Math 102, BIOL 103, 104, CHEM 106,107, and PE 250, 251; and completed one class from the following list: BIOL 101, 102, or CHEM 107, 109, or PHYS 111, 112, or PSYC 233 with an average grade point of 3.0; and who have permission from the faculty mentor will be admitted into the research minor.

Note - Research
The student will pick a faculty mentor based on research interests, and the mentor and student together will choose two other faculty to serve on the student’s committee. An oral presentation of the research results is required. The faculty mentor will determine the appropriate seminar, colloquium, symposium, or conference for the student’s oral presentation.
