ART 358 - Digital Color Management

Unique Course
In this course students will become proficient in a modern color photography workflow, from initial capture to a variety of final output methods. Students will learn and apply color theory, color psychology knowledge in their work. Students will be introduced to industry standard color management and digital printmaking practice to become proficient in managing color files to make high quality fine art prints. A variety of color processes, color grading, digital printmaking, color film development and post processing techniques will be utilized. Other topics include a brief history of color photography, and current artist and trends in color photography.
PreRequisite: ART 265   + MCOM 350
