Students who have completed Math 102, BIOL 103, 104, CHEM 106,107, and PE 250, 251; and completed one class from the following list: BIOL 101, 102, or CHEM 107, 109, or PHYS 111, 112, or PSYC 233 with an average grade point of 3; and who have permission from the faculty mentor will be admitted into the research minor.

Note - Research
Every year, faculty who are interested in mentoring a student in research will present research or discuss the areas of research in which they plan to mentor at a seminar. The student will pick a faculty mentor based on research interests, and the mentor and student together will choose two other faculty to serve on the student’s committee. The committee will determine the elective courses for the minor. Restricted Electives - 12 semester hours
