This program is offered through the College of Arts and Sciences. Note: after completion of 48 credit hours, students may register for up to nine (9) semester hours of 300-level courses. All students pursuing an associate’s degree must take the Rising Junior Examination after completion of 32 semester hours and prior to graduation. An exit exam is not required for Associate Degrees. Take at least one course to meet Globalization rquirements, this course can be either a Social Science or Arts & Humanities course. Take the following plus electives to total 64 hours.

Take two courses with lab, minimum 6 hours. Speech - 3 semester hours

Take one course Health - 2 semester hours

Take two courses from two different disciplines plus one additional course of your choice. Globalization requirement courses for Social Science include: AIS/HIST 257 Early American Indian History & Culture; ANTH 210 Culture Anthropology; GEOG 210 World Regional Geography; HIST 153 American History since 1945; POLS 141 Governments of the World; POLS 250 World Politics.
Arts and Humanities - 12 semester hours
Take two courses from two different disciplines and an additional two courses of your choice. The prefixes ART and ARTH are one discipline. Globalization requirement courses for Arts & Humanities include: ARTH 211 History of World Art I; ARTH 212 History of World Art II; ARTH 251 Indian Art History; ENGL 211 World Literature I; ENGL 212 World Literature II; HIST 121 Western Civilization I; HIST 122 Western Civilization II; HUM 100 Introduction to Humanities; MCOM 151 Introduction to Mass Communications.
