Career Pathways Major BAS.CPW

Career Pathways provides resources and guidance to students at the beginning of their academic journey. This program allows students opportunities to explore various career options, aligns those options with the appropriate academic major, and supports students on this journey by providing them with intensive academic and career services. The goal is to help students identify the academic major that best prepares them for their future career goals and then facilitating a seamless transfer into their major of choice. 

This program must be paired with a certificate. 

Required courses


AS Degree Gen Eds - 24 semester hours


  • ENGL 101
  • ENGL 201
  • CMST- Gen Ed - Speech (1 class) - 3 semester hours
  • MATH - Gen Ed - Mathematics (1 class) - 3 semester hours
  • Gen Ed - Social Science (1 class) - 3 semester hours
  • Gen Ed - Arts & Humanities (1 class) - 3 semester hours
  • Gen Ed - Natural Science & Lab (1 class/corresponding lab) - 3-4 semester hours
  • Gen Ed Elective - Take one additional General Education course from Natural Science/Lab, Social Science, or Arts/Humanities. Must be from a different disciplinary prefix. 3-4 semester hours

Electives to total 60


Electives are required to total 60 credits.
