Minor Requirements - 17 - 20 semester hours

• ED 295 - Practicum 1 to 3 semester hours

• 1 Credit required for minor

• ELED 315 - Foundations & Theory of Reading 2 semester hours
• ELED 440 - K-8 Language Arts Methods 2 semester hours

• or

• SEED 424 - 7-12 Language Arts Methods 3 semester hours
• ELED 450 - K-8 Reading Methods 2 semester hours
• ELED 459 - Intro to Literacy Assessment & Remediation 2-3 semester hours  2 credits required for the minor (ELED 459) OR ELED 659 - Diagnosis & Remediation of Reading Difficulties (3 credits)
• SEED 459 - 5-12 Diagnosis and Remediation of Reading Difficulties 3 semester hours
• LIBM 205 - Children’s Literature 2 semester hours

• LIBM 406 - Adolescent Literature 3 semester hours
