Black Hills State University is excited to offer a pre-nursing curriculum through the West River Health Sciences Center. The WRHSC has partnered with The University of South Dakota and South Dakota State University to facilitate the seamless transfer of the Applied Health Sciences associate degree at BHSU to both bachelor of science in Nursing programs at USD and SDSU.  Students can complete courses at BHSU prior to enrolling into these degree programs, which are located in Rapid City.  Students are encouraged to complete the associate degree in Applied Health Sciences at BHSU in preparation for pursuing their bachelor of science in Nursing, however other majors may also be a good fit.  For more information and personalized advising, contact WRHSC@BHSU.edu
