Admission to Professional Teacher Preparation Program
This composite major has an emphasis on special education in an early childhood classroom and prepares students for state certification to work with children from birth to age 8. Because course requirements include field experiences in a childcare setting, the Department of Social Services requires a central registry check. Students must apply for admission and be admitted into the Early Childhood Special Education Program.
