Students who have completed MATH 102 (College Algebra), MATH 281 (Introductory Statistics), and PSYC 373/L (Research Methods in Experimental PSYC and Lab) with an overall grade point of 3.0 and who have permission from their faculty mentor will be admitted into the research minor in psychology.

Note - Research
Every year, faculty who are interested in mentoring a student in research will present research or discuss the areas of research in which they plan to mentor at a seminar. The student will pick a faculty mentor based on research interests, and the mentor and student together will choose two other faculty to serve on the student’s committee. The committee will determine the elective courses for the minor. Supportive Electives - 6 semester hours
