The major in Communication Arts is available through the departments of art and mass communication. The emphasis in the communication arts degree is on the creation and manipulation of graphics and images. Students learn the basics of drawing, design, and photo imaging. The principles learned are applied in a series of computer courses where students create images and employ their creations to communicate specific messages to an identified public. The Bachelor of Arts Degree requires students to take 4 semesters of foreign language.

- MATH Gen Ed - Mathematics - 3 semester hours

- Gen Ed - Natural Science & Lab - 8 semester hours
Note
A minor is required with this major plus electives to total 128 hours, of which 36 hours must be 300-400 level courses. |
