This course will be a laboratory intensive course where students will learn procedures and methods used in genomics research. Methods emphasized will be experimental design, microarray analysis, real-time PCR and statistical analysis. Research will utilize collaboration and bioinformatics tools along with cutting edge technology in the rapidly growing field of genomics.
