AIS 244 - American Indians in Film and Social MediaUnique Course This course explores how film, television and social media industries both construct and appropriate images of American Indians. The course examines Native American themed films and social media made by both Native and non-Natives, in order to critically compare the images presented from each perspective and understand the impacts of these images on the relationship, place and space occupied by Native Americans in contemporary society.
