ED 655 - Teaching & Supervision of Reading

CRSE Type: Unique Course

This course will acquaint inservice teachers and administrators with the current theoretical and research base for the teaching of reading in the K-12 environment. The course will provide teachers, supervisors, and administrators with knowledge and experience in the areas of material selection, methodology and strategies, reading/ writing connection, assessment and supervision. The course will focus on the role of the teacher as decision-maker in the reading program and the role of the supervisor of this program.
