ED 636 - Philosophical Foundations of Adult Education CRSE Type: Unique Course This course is a study of the nature and philosophy of adult
education and development. Students will analyze the instruction of
the adult, how they adapt, develop and learn. Educational
philosophers will be studied and analyzed to provide a foundation
for adult education. This course will center on encouraging the
student to learn how best to philosophically and educationally meet
the needs of the adult learner through personal development,
learning ability, learning styles, conditions affecting learning,
and adapting, growing and changing in a global society. 3 semester hours
