ED 650 - Assessment & Correction of Reading Difficulties Grades 6-12

The course develops teacher expertise in administering reading assessments that will drive instruction needed to meet the needs of diverse learners in grades 6-12. The course emphasizes theoretical and practical applications for classroom, small group, and one-to-one settings. Teachers will apply course material through a case study with an intermediate or secondary reader, developing individualized corrective plans and procedures.
