ED 605 - Children’s and Young Adult Literature CRSE Type: Unique Course This course is designed for teachers who will use literature
written for children and young adults to teach the content of their
curricula. The course is for graduate students interested in
knowing about the content of literature for children and young
adults. Topics of discussion include: the range of literature for
children and young adults, evaluation and value of their
literature, strategies for incorporating children’s and young adult
literature into curricula, and the historical development of
children’s and young adult literature. 3 semester hours
