LIBM 543 - Cataloging and Classification CRSE Type: Unique Course Students will learn the tools and techniques employed in the
organization of information for library use. Covers the theory and
application of basic principles and concepts of descriptive
cataloging, the Dewey Decimal and Library of Congress
classification systems, Sears and the Library of Congress Subject
Headings. Provides the use of OCLC instruction; representative
problems and practice. Cross-listed Dual-listed with LIBM 443.
