PSYC 402 - Perspectives in Psychology

Unique Course
This course is intended for students in their senior year of study and is required for all psychology majors. This course will provide a detailed consideration of the fundamental principles and main questions that are important to the study of behavior. While setting historical context and providing relevant historical background information will not be overlooked, the majority of time will be spent examining the perspectives and theories that have determined the direction that psychology has taken in the past three decades. The course will examine new developments in the fields of neuroscience, cognitive psychology, personality, behavioral genetics, clinical psychology and social psychology.
PreRequisite: PSYC-101 PSYC-373 PSYC-373L PSYC-409
