The student will learn to understand the major influences on adolescent development and behavior including biological, cultural, peer, and family conditions as well as how educational programming practices aid adolescents in the development process. In addition, students will identify retardation and developmental disabilities, speech and hearing disabilities, other health impairments, and giftedness.
