TECH 185 - Technology and Our Lives

Unique Course
This course studies technology and its relationship to ethics, history, energy, ecology, population, medical and third world countries. The role technology plays in each of the above areas will be covered along with the benefits to civilization as well as the harm to civilization that has resulted from certain technologies and their use/misuses. Research and writing assignments will be given that relate to the above topics and technical discipline. These assignments will include research, drafting, rewriting, peer review and completing a finished document per standards in the technical field.
